What it was like living on a farm in Sweden in the 1800s? Our guest speaker Bob Johnson will examine it from the various perspectives of the farmer, wife, children, farm hands, maids, and others living on the farm over time. He will also consider what was behind the decisions to leave Sweden in the 19 th Century. The content is based on letters, diaries, family stories, academic and historical research, laws, and records from church and courts. This presentation is not a research presentation but rather looks at the context of our farm families’ lives and the decisions they made.
